How to Join Us

The Bowmen of Lytchett Archery Club is alway looking for new members to join our ranks, young and old all are welcome. Archery is a great sport for all the family as you all can get involved and shoot with each other.
To start shooting with us, as with all Archery Clubs, you first must complete our Beginners Course. Once you have completed this, you can then join to become a member of one of the best and most diverse clubs in the south of England. This is the point where you must pay affiliation fees to governing body of archery and of course your membership fees to us.
On joining, you will have access to the vast knowledge of our experienced archers, our qualified coaches and our outstanding facilities which are yours to use for free.

The Beginners Course and What it Entails

30 March, 6 & 13 April              (Sats)
27 April, 4 & 11 May                  (Sats)
1, 8 & 15 June                           (Sats)
6, 13 & 20 July                          (Sats)
31 August, 7 & 14 September   (Sats)
Sessions run from 11.00am – 3:00pm on three successive Saturdays with a break for lunch.  Participants need to attend all days to complete the course successfully.  We typically reserve an additional Sat as a contingency for bad weather or unforeseen circumstances.  Please let us know if the proposed schedule doesn’t suit as it will inform our course planning.
The course is suitable for all ages from eight years old.  Young people below the age of 18 must be accompanied throughout each session by a parent, guardian or responsible adult.
The courses are run by ArcheryGB-certified coaches and attendees are covered by the Club’s insurance.  Archery equipment is provided and participants should dress for our outdoor range in non-baggy clothing. Attending parents may want to bring a seat.  We advise that personal archery equipment is not purchased until after the course, as we include equipment advice. The fee for all sessions is £65 per attendee and successful completion enables you to apply for membership at any ArcheryGB-affiliated club, including our own Bowmen of Lytchett.

Pricing

We keep things simple here, it is £65.00 per person. This will cover everything from the hiring of equipment to the professional coaches.
Another point to note is that you must attend every course to complete it, so please make sure when you book you can attend all lesson.
